Yin Yoga: We’ll set the foundation for our day together through mindful movement and breathwork with special attention to your heart chakra. Kelsey will guide us through a rejuvenating Yin practice infused with ancient principles of Yin and Yang to help you find resilience and inner harmony. Through gentle, prolonged poses we will embrace the art of surrender and self-acceptance to relieve stress and foster a deep connection to the present moment. You’ll leave feeling grounded, balanced, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges.

Nordic Exposure Sauna and Cold Plunge Adventure: After yoga, you'll have the opportunity to indulge in a relaxing sauna session to cleanse your body and uplift your spirits. Helping you optimize your experience, Kayla will be your sauna and cold plunge guide. You'll alternate between a steamy sauna and an invigorating cold plunge, designed to boost circulation and enhance mental clarity. Embrace the refreshing cold water and discover your inner strength as you conquer this empowering challenge.

Fire Cider Make and Take Workshop: Learn how to bolster your immune system naturally with our interactive workshop. Rachel will be teaching you the art of crafting Fire Cider, a potent tonic made from a blend of immune-boosting herbs, spices, and natural ingredients. We'll also discuss various natural remedies including some good items to keep on hand and other helpful tips for supporting your body through the upcoming seasons. You'll take home all these learnings as well as your own bottle of hand-crafted Fire Cider to boost your well-being long after the retreat!

Building Resilience Workshop: Through engaging and insightful discussions, this workshop is geared to dive into the pillars of resilience. Your panel of hosts will provide their professional perspectives and tools for cultivating emotional regulation, fostering a positive mindset, and building a strong support network. To help you equip yourself with invaluable tools to navigate adversity and thrive at all levels, we will explore the importance of purpose, physical well-being, and embracing self-compassion.

Community Acupuncture and Reiki Experience: The day concludes with a truly transformative experience as you simultaneously receive the combined healing energies of acupuncture and Reiki. Kayla and Rachel work together to harmonize your body's energy, restore balance, and promote deep relaxation.

Questions + Answers

What should I bring?

Something to change into for the sauna/ cold plunge, a towel, a water bottle and anything else that will help you be comfortable throughout the day! We recommend comfy clothes that are easy to move around in. Everything else you'll need for the day will be provided!

Do I need to bring my own food?

We will be providing lunch from Crisp & Green. We will collect your order in the morning when you check in! We will also provide healthy snacks for you throughout the day, but absolutely feel free to bring anything that you'd like!

Should I bring a yoga mat?

The Wellness Collective has yoga mats you may borrow or you can bring your own. Please note that it is a LATEX FREE FACILITY, so if bringing your own please ensure that it does not contain latex OR natural rubber to avoid allergic reactions for those that cannot tolerate it.

What if I've never done a Sauna and Cold Plunge Before?

That's just fine! Kayla will be guiding and coaching you through the whole experience. The empowerment from doing something out of your comfort zone will be absolutely invigorating. You are the expert of your body and mind and if you need to pass on one or both, we will always respect and honor those choices.

What do I wear for the Sauna and Cold Plunge?

Bring something that you'll be comfortable getting wet in- Shorts and a sports bra or shirt or a swimsuit are just fine options! Pro tip: Bring a plastic bag along for your wet clothes aferward!

What are the benefits of Sauna and Cold Plunge?

Ultimately, it's helping the nervous system and body become more resilient! There are so many other great benefits. Our Sauna and Cold Plunge Provider, Circle the Earth Recreation Organization, has some more information on it here

I'm new to yoga, what should I expect?

Our class is beginner-friendly, so don't sweat it! Kelsey will guide you through everything you'll need to know and provide options for modifications!

What's the parking situation like?

There is parking along Minnesota Street and 2nd South Street.

What if I can't find anyone that wants to come with me?

PERFECT! This is an amazing opportunity to meet other like-minded women and create new connections! We find that those who come solo to our events and retreats say that they feel they probably got more out of it than if they would have come with someone they know- and they don't regret it! Stepping outside of your comfort zone CREATES RESILIENCE. Lean into it sister, and we can't wait to welcome you!
